Dr. R. Maurice Boyd, Minister

With deep sadness and a profound sense of loss, we announce that the life of Dr. R. Maurice Boyd reached its end, March 24, 2009. Dr. Boyd died suddenly at age 77, in New York.

The importance of Dr. Boyd to the lives of so many of us hardly needs to be stated – his vision became part of our way of seeing. He was our minister, teacher, counselor, and friend, and in all things, and in all ways, he was truly his own Self. For that, we remain eternally grateful to him and to He who made him.

“We need Easter because we love one another.
We have Easter because God loves us.”
